HR Specialist

TPD is looking for an HR Specialist to join our growing HR Solutions team providing advisory services and consulting projects to small and medium-sized businesses across many industries. The role will involve working as part of a team to deliver both day to day HR support and HR infrastructure projects. This will involve a solid understanding of HR Best Practices, building relationships and managing projects.

  • Work under the guidance and mentorship of a senior HR practitioner.

  • Support the day-to-day internal HR needs as well as those of our clients.

  • Support the organization through organizational change.

  • Support the delivery of employee training and development with a variety of tools, including a Learning Management System

  • Assist in content development.

  • Assist in preparation of presentations and participate in meetings.

  • Aid in implementing HR Programs and Processes

  • Support the HR Information System (HRIS) implementations.



  • 3+ years experience in HR

  • A degree or diploma in Business or Human Resources

  • Knowledge of Google products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience with an HRIS - asset for experience in BambooHR

  • Experience doing project designing and implementing an area of HR. Ability to comprehend clients' needs and translate that to solution design.

  • Project Coordination Skills

  • Strong Administration Skills

  • Intermediate Excel Skills

  • Experience administering payroll preferred

  • Applied knowledge and experience in Recruitment considered an asset
